Today was march 30, 2009. We got back from Nashville last night at about 8 pm and it was around 10:00 by the time we made it back from the airport. We had a lot of fun while we were there. Friday Jenny, Slovenka and I walked to the Trist Museum from the hotel. There was a Medieval Arts showing, very interesting artwork, most was of a religious nature, but there were a few item that were for decoration. Pretty amazing how well they have stood up for so many years. Then we met at the convetion center and went by bus to the Hermatage Hotel and had High Tea and a historical tour of the place. This hotel has seen a lot of famous people pass through its halls. Once Gene Autry stayed there and wanted his horse to be on the same floor he was on. His horse was taken to the fourth floor on the service elevator and treated like a famous guest.. wonderful history. When we arrived back at the hotel we went around the convention floor until the guys were ready to go eat. Friday night we all went to Morton's Steak House...Wonderful meal.
Saturday Jim and I drove to Murfreesboro to see Pete and Earline. She looks wonderful, and her treatment is over. They will do tests in one month and we all pray the cancer is all gone. Jennifer and her little one..Lake were there. He is just a little cutie and such a little character. Jessie showed up for a little while and told us of her wedding plans,,we willbe seeing them again in May. Then we stayed so long we had to hightail it back to get on a bus to the Grand Ole Opry. There were tornado warnings all over the place and pouring down rain, but we all braved it and nothing hapened. The "old guys" were singing tonight. Had only heard of a couple...Ronnie Milsapp was the last one out so I guess he was the "Star" of the evening. Vionce Gill was there the night before... On Sunday morning we all met at 9 and went to The Pancake Pantry, which all the Owen's clan raved about and we heard how the line would be about 3 blocks long..well it was so cold it was only a little out the door sowe got in pretty quick. all of us loved our meal,,,except Jim. He complained about almost every meal we had..and he was a grumpuy old man the whole time... Today back to the normal routine...laundry, grocery shopping work out and try to get a little organizing done. I am trying to take a little time every day and work on one spot, so today I am filling all the Easter Eggs and filling up a tub with them,, that way when the kids get all the candy out they can put them back together and back in the tub.....I can dream can't I? I spend so much time trying to find all the matches,,,,we are talking a BIG tub of eggs, and this year I had to add a lot as there will be 4 more children...Should be lots of fun!!! Well, I am tired and it is time for bed..so night all.

March 21,09 Saturday

Went to Kim's early to help out with garage sale. I can't believe how much stuff she has to sell. We got a beautiful spring day and lots of people itching to hit some garage sales... She sold all of the furniture she had to sell and tons of little junk. Austin was the cashier, and he was awesome at it. He counted the change back to everyone and was right almost every time. Gracie just had fun flitting around and seeing everything for sale. She did get mad when a GI Joe came up and the lady put it back...too funny! Looks like we are going to the world of wheels show at the Qwest tonight. Jim has the GT40 and the 56 Ford in it. Greg has something in too. Maybe we will get to see them.

March 19, 09

Been a few days since my last post. Last Wednesday I had something like an asthma attack while working out at the gym...first day with a new trainer...scarred her, and me.. I went to my Dr and they couldn't find any reason, but did get an inhaler to use just before exercise. Friday went to a funeral in Ord, Ne. Jim's aunt Irene passed away, she was 88. a long day, but saw many family members. I went to the sprint store and got a new phone, just put the cool Zagg shield. This phone can do just about anything... Hope I can figure out all the cool things it does. First thing I want to do is load the app from K-love on it. Really nice out today, should go and enjoy, but want to finish my scrapbook room organizing. Finally got the slice unpackaged and am charging it up so I can try it out. My goal is at leat one page a day this year...so far I am way behind. i only have 39 done so far...oh, well better than none! Well, have to go and fill some of those plastic eggs. I try to do a few everyday.

Scrapbook Your Life

First posting..March 10, 2009
I love scrapbooking, but I sure spend a lot of time looking at others scrapbook stuff on the net. I am in the process of reorganizing my room. It is 1,500 sf and I still have stuff sitting all over. I think maybe I am a better buyer than user of scrapbook stuff. My favorite subject is my 9 grandchildren. Always something new and they all grow so fast. I scrapbook late at night when I have more energy or maybe I am just a night person. I wish there was a tv channel devoted just to scrapbooking. I love the Scrapinstyle webisodes, Jeanette you are awesome. I love to have freinds come and share my space and stuff, ,,maybe I should teach? Well, off to scrap...Good night all.
